Brief Weather Discussion
Today wil be another unseasonably mild day, and it will be slightly warmer than yesterday with highs around 70. There will be more clouds around today and they will gradually increase and thicken through the day ahead of an approaching cold front. Showers will become possible late this afternoon (after 4pm), but the best chance for rain will be late tonight and overnight as the front passes. Tomorrow will be drier and cooler with a good amount of clouds sticking around.
Brief Weather Discussion
A region of high pressure off the coast bring warming southwest winds today and tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 60's today and near to below 70 tomorrow. Clouds will increase tonight which will keep overnight lows very mild and a few patchy areas of drizzle may develop towards morning. There will be a good amount of clouds around tomorrow, but partial sunshine will break through at times in the afternoon. A cold front will arrive late in the day and a few showers will start to develop towards evening, with the best chance for precipitation later at ...
Brief Weather Discussion
A very pleasant series of days is expected as high pressure takes control of the weather. Today will be a seasonable day with lots of sunshine and highs in the mid-upper 40's, but tomorrow and Thursday will each be warmer with highs near 60 and in the mid-upper 60's. A cold front will pass through on Friday with a few showers or periods of light rain.
Brief Weather Discussion
A disturbance will track just south of the area today, but most (if not all) snow will stay to the south. Clouds will move in early this morning, and even if any light snow does manage to fall, accumulation is unlikely. Clouds will clear out tonight and then high pressure will move in, bringing quiet and milder weather for the majority of the week.
Brief Weather Discussion
Cool temperatures this morning will quickly warm up thanks to a sunny start. Clouds return in the afternoon as a warm front pushes through the region. Rain starts after 4pm and a thunderstorm could be imbeded with the showers tonight. A second threat for rain or even a snow shower (20% chance) comes Sunday after a cold front passes. This frontal passage will drop temperatures for the first part of the week to slightly below normal for early March.
Brief Weather Discussion
After a wet Wednesday, today will be foggy to start but drier despite a minor chance of some harmless sprinkles in the am. The rest of the week will be rather quiet besides some rain (possibly some thunderstorms) moving in Friday evening into Saturday morning. Temperature wise, today and tomorrow will be a bit warm in the 60's but after a strong cold front pushes in Saturday, the first half of next week will be cooler.
Brief Weather Discussion
A very moist system moves into the region today bringing plenty of rain (up to 1 inch possible). Light rain comes in by 8-9am but expect a moderate or even heavy period in the pm. Thunderstorms are certainly possible with this system. There could be a lighter period or brief break from the rain in the early evening but light showers/drizzle linger overnight into the early am.
Brief Weather Discussion
Another pleasant day and night for Tuesday. The previously mentioned threat for sleet tomorrow morning no longer seems likely for central MD so expect mostly an all rain scenario starting tomorrow morning. Rain moves in early AM and continuous through the day (may be moderate at times) and some light rain/drizzle lingers overnight into early Thursday. Rain totals around .60-.80 inches. The chance of rain comes again on Friday.
Brief Weather Discussion
Today will be cloudy and warm with a few scattered showers in the area. A strong cold front will move through this afternoon, which will bring a better chance of rain and could set off a few gusty thunderstorms. Any severe weather will be south of Maryland, but watch for wind gusts as high as 30-40 mph with any strong storms. The threat for rain will end by 6pm, and then skies will clear up tonight. Tomorrow will be windy again with increasing afternoon clouds and just a slight chance of scattered showers.
Brief Weather Discussion
There will be a good amount of clouds around today and temperatures will be quite mild with highs rising into the 60's. No precipitation is expected during the day, but clouds will increase and there will be a slight chance of showers late tonight/overnight as a disturbance passes to the north. Clouds will stick around into Friday morning with a continued sight chance of showers. A strong cold front will pass in the afternoon, which will bring higher winds and could set off a few gusty thunderstorms.
